Michael turns one year old today! It is so hard to believe that we've had our boy for that long! He's growing up so fast!

Never in my life have I seen a baby and his daddy so attached to each other! When Tom comes home from work, Michael greets him with blissful excitement--sometimes celebrating by waving his arms in the air with squeals of joy! After Daddy changes out of his work clothes, he likes to get down on the floor and play with Michael. The other day, we realized that we didn't have a ball for Michael to throw and roll, so Tom got out a grapefruit, and was rolling it back and forth with Michael! It is fun for me to see how much they enjoy their "guy time".

Recently I went to Grandpa and Grandma Stevens' house to play. There is so much to do there--it is a lot more fun than playing alone at home! My uncles aren't that much older than me, so we like to do some of the same things. I think that riding in the wagon was one of the most fun parts about the visit. My uncles and aunts tried to make sure I was shaded during the rides, because I don't like the sun getting in my eyes!
Another thing I liked about the visit was banging on the piano. Grandpa said it didn't bother him, and he almost seemed to enjoy hearing the joyful noise that I made (Mommy didn't think that it sounded very much like music)! Grandparents are delightful! :)
I also liked playing on the grass outside. It was funny to see the look on Mommy's face when my uncles and aunts brought me inside after a lot of fun in the backyard. She couldn't believe how dirty I was! I had such a delightful time, and I want to go play with everyone again soon! :)
