Bethany got her first taste of solid food on Wednesday--her 6 month birthday. She had mashed banana, and she wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first. After a few bites she decided it wasn't so bad, but she still prefers milk. :)

Today our little girl is half of a year old! Her sweet, feminine, and cuddly personality is so enjoyable to us! She is such a gift from the Lord!

Today Grandpa and Grammy came over to our house! They played with us for a very long time, and I had so much fun! They brought over some fun "Grandpa and Grammy toys", and I liked that a lot! During one part of the day, Grammy set me on the dining room table so that Grandpa could get my picture with a bunch of little pumpkins that they had brought over. I liked those pumpkins! They were small enough that I could pick them up. I wanted to roll them off the table, but they didn't seem to think that would be a very good idea. I was having so much fun that it was quite disappointing when Daddy and Mommy decided that it was time for bed. I hope I can see Grandpa and Grammy again soon!

Last night on our 28th "month-anniversary" my sweet hubby took me on a date to one of our favorite restaurants, "Market Broiler". They specialize in seafood, so we both ordered different kinds of fish. The restaurant reminds us of one of the places we visited on our honeymoon--"The Great American Fish Company". If you're ever in the Morro Bay area (and you like seafood), you should try it! We spent a relaxing time at the restaurant, getting to talk heart to heart like we love to do. When we came home, we found that our babysitter (my sister Rachel) had baked up an enormous batch of cookies for us! I don't get around to baking very much anymore, so this will be a fun treat! I sure am feeling blessed! :)
